Richmond is the capital city of the Commonwealth of Virginia and part of the James River fall line. Richmond has a rich history and thriving economy that is driven by finance, legal and government (federal and state). Many Fortune 500 companies and other business have their headquarters within the city and metropolitan area plus a growing number of small to medium businesses as well.
